President of Azerbaijan, President of Türkiye and Prime Minister of Pakistan held trilateral meeting

A trilateral meeting between Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, took place on November 8.

During the meeting, the President of Türkiye and the Prime Minister of Pakistan once again congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War, hailing the excellent organization of the military parade in Baku.

During the conversation, it was noted that Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Pakistan always stand by each other. They also noted the further development of cooperation among the countries across political, economic, military, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

The leaders exchanged views on the prospects of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Pakistan trilateral format.

On December 12, 2024, the next round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic was held in Paris. The consultations were chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Ismatullo Nasredin, and the Director for Continental Europe, Brice Roquefeuil.

On November 6, 2024, in Seoul, within the framework of working visit, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodiq Imomi and the President of the Assembly and Chair of the Council of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Ban Ki-moon.

During the meeting, S.Imomi handed over to Ban Ki-moon the original Instrument of accession of Tajikistan to the Agreement on the establishment of the Global Green Growth Institute, and the parties noted the importance of joining of the Republic of Tajikistan to the GGGI to further expand cooperation in the field of environmental protection and climate change.

During the meeting two sides discussed issues of expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and the GGGI in the context of renewable energy and sustainable development.

The GGGI leadership was also invited to participate in the High-Level International Conference on Glacier’s Preservation, which, according to the UN General Assembly resolution, is scheduled for May 2025 in Dushanbe.

Ban Ki-moon recalled his long-standing friendly relations with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon and conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the Нead of the Tajik state.

On October 17, 2024, the first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Ghana took place in Dushanbe.

Sides discussed issues related to the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of tourism, science and strengthening the legal basis, partnership in the framework of international organizations and other issues of common interest.

At the end of the meeting, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana on Bilateral political consultations has been signed.
