On June 26, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar, Nurmurod Mahmadali, met with the Director for Development and Project Implementation of the Qatar company in Tajikistan, Eid al-Qahtani and the Executive Director of Urbacon Trading & Contracting Company (UCC), Jean Elias Akari.

During the conversation were discussed continuation of the process of implementing the investment projects.
It was emphasized that implementation of projects in the construction and urban infrastructure development sector play an effective role in expanding and strengthening ties between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, of the Ambassador with the management of Urbacon Trading & Contracting, cooperation in the fields of energy, mining, agriculture and construction was discussed, as well as ways to expand business relations between the two countries in the direction of investment in projects related to tourism infrastructure, and also using the economic and investment potential of Tajikistan.

Following the meeting, the parties considered it necessary to hold regular meetings of industry businessman from Tajikistan and Qatar to discuss mutually beneficial areas of cooperation.
